The contractor is at the gate. The cash is in your pocket. The record is in your head.

Most sites still run on a notebook, WhatsApp and memory, until a dispute or an investor needs the numbers.

"How much did I give him?"Payments are scattered across notebooks and chats, and nobody can find them when it matters.
Site staff, loose cashSupervisors pay from their own pocket and hand in receipts days later, if at all.
Investors can't see inPartners ask for a spreadsheet, then wonder whether it was tidied up first.

Three things, done properly

Project Khata makes the record the easiest part of paying.

โšก

Pay in seconds

Tap the contractor, type the amount, attach the receipt. Done before the conversation is over.

A ledger nobody can quietly change

Entries are never edited or deleted. A mistake is corrected by a reversal, and both entries stay visible.

Know where you stand

Budget, contracted, paid and still payable. Always current, for every site.

From plan to payment in five steps

Set it up once. After that, paying takes seconds.

Plan the project

Plot, scope and budget, starting from a ready-made blueprint.

Approve

One approval creates the jobs, draft contracts and material ledgers.

Confirm who you pay

Placeholders can't be paid, so money never goes to "somebody".

Pay from Home

Tap a tile, type the amount. Pay in parts; pay suppliers later.

See where you stand

Budget against contracted, paid and still payable.

Pay in parts. Pay suppliers later.

Every contract has a payment schedule that shows Paid, Partial and Unpaid at a glance. Record a delivery today and settle the supplier next week. The balance is always in front of you.

  • Advance, instalments and final payment
  • Supplier bills with what is still owed
  • Receipt photo on every bill
Contract payment schedule

A ledger you can show anyone.

The Final Ledger is built only from recorded payments. Nobody can edit or delete an entry: not you, not your manager, not us. Export it to a spreadsheet whenever you like.

  • Corrections are visible reversal entries
  • Grouped by stage, job and contract
  • Export to spreadsheet
Final ledger

Plan once. The project builds itself.

Start from a blueprint of stages, jobs, contracts and tasks. One approval creates the whole project, ready for payments. Save your own blueprint for the next site.

  • Jobs with labor, material and other budgets
  • Draft contracts with payment schedules
  • Ledgers for cement, bricks, sand, crush and steel
Project blueprint

Know where you stand, on every site.

The Project Dashboard keeps budget, contracted, paid and still payable together, broken down by job, with a list of anything that still needs confirming.

  • Cost by job
  • Still payable to contractors and suppliers
  • Investor view with totals only

Questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. Project Khata runs in your phone or computer browser.

Can my supervisor use it on site?

Yes. Supervisors sign in with their mobile number and see a single "Who are you paying?" screen, designed for a phone.

Can anyone change an entry afterwards?

No: not you, not your manager, not us. Mistakes are corrected with a reversal, and both entries stay visible.

What can my investor see?

Only totals: budget, contracted, paid and still payable, plus where the money went by type. Not contractor names or rates.

Do my contractors and suppliers need accounts?

No. They are simply names you pay.

Can I take my data out?

Yes. The Final Ledger exports to a spreadsheet file at any time.

Does it work without internet?

Not today. It needs a connection.

Does it replace my accountant's software?

No. Project Khata is for cost control on site: who was paid what, and where you stand against budget. It isn't tax or payroll software.
